Mulch has many benefits, including preventing weeds, regulating soil temperature, and retaining moisture for shrubs, trees, and garden beds. Please note that at this time, we do not offer any weed spraying. At the moment, Guardian Property Services is in the process of obtaining a 3B turf management license through the Office of the Indiana State Chemist.
We will manually weed mulch beds as needed. We highly do not recommend weed fabric, but can still add it as requested. We rather recommend customers use granular weed control products, such as Preen.
We also do not recommend removing mulch as it decomposes over time. Rather, the best way is to ensure the new mulch makes it 2-4 inches deep. We will pick up, deliver, and install whatever mulch is requested by our customers. We recommend to only use red mulch for commercial applications. Rubber mulch is also an excellent option as well.
